Please be aware that due to the COVID-19 global pandemic we are easing back into our in-office appointments **. Do consider that the option of a VIRTUAL VISIT still exists if you desire to discuss any oral health concerns you may have from home! **
SAFETY IS OUR GOAL!!! Please anticipate that we will be inquiring: 1. IF YOU HAVE TRAVELLED ABROAD IN THE 14 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. 2. IF YOU HAVE a fever, a cough or any other COLD TYPE SYMPTOMS, so we can reschedule your dental hygiene treatment appointment if required.
We will be happy to rebook you if required. Please understand that we appreciate you communicating with us prior to your appointment time in consideration of our other patients trying to get their oral health back on track!

A Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) can provide PREVENTATIVE ORAL CARE falling under the Dental Hygiene Scope of Practice.

At MidWest Dental Hygiene we aim to provide patient specific and appropriate care. All treatment will be preceded by Assessment. and Treatment recommendations will be based on assessment data.

What does a new patient appointment look like?
We are always eager to meet new patients and like to do a thorough assessment prior to care. We will review your medical details, perform a head and neck exam and an oral cancer screening. After a thorough assessment, which may include x-rays if required, we clean your teeth! This could include scaling, root planing or polishing. We can also offer: fluoride varnish treatments, fissure sealants; some In-office desensitizing treatments are also available.
The guiding factor to all of our appointments is working together towards a happier and healthier smile for YOU! Principles of prevention will be practiced and discussed in an effort to achieve optimal oral health.
We can preauthorize and/or process insurance claims electronically for you on your behalf. We can also discuss and work with you if you do not have dental benefits.
NOTE: If you are only interested in the bare bones 'teeth cleaning' OR do not intend to be a routine patient at MidWest Dental Hygiene, consider the 'SAME DAY DENTAL HYGIENE APPOINTMENT'. See our website for details.
